New InterReach® Unison AWS System Extends Indoor Cellular Coverage to New Groups of Users

SAN JOSE, CA, June 25, 2007—LGC Wireless, the leader in specialized wireless coverage and capacity solutions, today announced that American Tower Corporation will deploy LGC’s new InterReach® Unison AWS system at Las Vegas’ leading hotel and casino properties. Under the new agreement, American Tower will deploy the new InterReach AWS product to deliver Advanced Wireless System (AWS)-based services at more than a dozen major Las Vegas hotel properties. Hotel visitors using carriers who offer services on the extended AWS spectrum will now enjoy the same strong and pervasive indoor wireless coverage as users of networks based on CDMA, GSM, and iDEN protocols.

American Tower has long held exclusive access rights to many of Las Vegas’ most prestigious and popular resorts, and it has previously relied on other LGC Wireless systems to deliver high-performance wireless coverage and capacity inside those properties. LGC Wireless’ new InterReach® Unison AWS extends the company’s industry-leading performance and scalability by supporting AWS frequencies in the 1700 /2100MHz bands as well as all other 2G and 3G wireless services.
