Unison Accel Systems Deliver GSM and UMTS Coverage for Croatia’s Leading Wireless Provider

SAN JOSE, CA, October 10, 2006— LGC Wireless, the leader in advanced in-building wireless systems, today announced that Vipnet, the most advanced mobile operator in Croatia, has deployed LGC’s Interreach Unison™ Accel system to provide strong and pervasive cellular coverage for its new headquarters in Zagreb. The new system delivers GSM and UMTS service over seven floors of offices and two underground parking levels in the facility—more than 100,000 square feet in all.

Vipnet was the first company granted a private cellular network franchise in Croatia, and has been operating its GSM-based network in Zagreb and other cities since 1999. The company was also the first in Croatia to offer advanced services such as EDGE and HSDPA. Vipnet’s new headquarters building is part of a state-of-the-art corporate campus that features a host of employee amenities including a preschool and day care center, fitness center, and restaurants.
